August 2016 Update

After U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann’s retirement from Congress, I ended my active involvement in political campaigning (2008-2014) in my home congressional district, MN-06 — represented by Rep. Bachmann (R-Minn.) from January 3, 2007 to January 3, 2015 — and returned to my preferred former role as a nonpartisan political observer and student of personality in politics.

For more information regarding my research on the psychology of politics, please visit the new website of the Unit for the Study of Personality in Politics (Personality-Politics.org).

Journalists seeking fresh angles for political reporting on the role of personality, temperament, and character in the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign are referred to my Media Tipsheet (http://personality-politics.org/2016-election-media-tipsheet).
