One year ago today, I reported that Independent candidate for Minnesota governor, Tom Horner, received endorsements from all of the major newspapers in Minnesota, including the Star Tribune, the Duluth News Tribune, and the St. Cloud Times.

White House Decisively Dismisses Dick Cheney

Two years ago today, on October 24, 2009, I reported that the White House forcefully rejected criticism by former Vice President Dick Cheney that President Barack Obama was “waffling” and “dithering” on his Afghanistan war strategy.


Three Years Ago — October 24, 2008

Despite ‘Anti-American’ Remarks, Bachmann Base Holds Firm

Three years ago today, on October 24, 2008, I reported that Rep. Michele Bachmann’s support remained steadfast in the wake of her controversial McCarthyite statement on MSNBC’s “Hardball” with Chris Matthews, in which she called on the media to investigate which members of Congress were “pro-America or anti-America.”
