Sixth District Walking Tour Kickoff Saturday!

I kick off my walking tour of the Sixth District this Saturday, Aug. 9 (exactly one month before the Sept. 9 primary), with a 20-mile route march along the Lake Wobegon Trail from Freeport to St. Joseph.

At 9 a.m. Saturday morning, I will be at Charlie’s Café in Freeport, accompanied by my family, to meet local residents and listen to their concerns. From there, I will proceed on foot along the Lake Wobegon Trail with my four children (aged 13, 11, 9, and 2) on bicycles. I expect to reach the Albany trailhead by noon; the Avon trailhead by 2 PM; and the St. Joseph trailhead by 5 p.m., God willing.

After a day of rest Sunday, I will head south on Monday along the Highway 10 corridor to Anoka, and from there (along a route yet to be determined) to Blaine and Stillwater, where I hope to arrive by the end of the week. Updates will be posted on this campaign blog.
