Horner Campaign Releases TV Ad
The Tom Horner for Governor campaign has released a TV ad for the general election campaign.
A Message from the Horner Campaign
HORNER2010 continues to broaden and deepen the campaign’s connections to independent-minded voters around Minnesota. We are becoming a community: letters to the editor are being published; Tom’s vision is being promoted in the comments section of newspaper stories; Twitter feeds and Facebook pages include positive comments about Tom’s leadership; photos are arriving at campaign@horner2010.com for the “Victory Wall.”
Two easy ways to get involved
1. Send your photo to campaign@horner2010.com for our “Victory Wall.” We’ll cover a wall with your pictures. Can’t e-mail a photo? Mail a print (and perhaps a check): 10760 Hwy 55, Plymouth, MN 55441.
2. Drop us a line, by e-mail at campaign@horner2010.com or through the post office, about why you think Tom should be our next governor. Copy your thoughts to your local newspaper’s letters-to-the-editor section.
Together, we’ll elect a common-sense leader, Tom Horner, as Minnesota’s 39th governor.
Great showing in Nisswa, Winona debates
Tom led the Star Tribune’s coverage of Tuesday’s debate [Aug. 17] sponsored by the Brainerd Lakes/Minnesota chambers of commerce in Nisswa, Minn.
Tom had a chance to discuss his views on expanding health care coverage for poor Minnesotans when he visited St. Cloud Hospital on Monday [Aug. 16]. The St. Cloud Times covered that tour. [See coverage on this site]
Tom also debated his DFL opponent at the Coalition for Greater Minnesota Cities debate Thursday [Aug. 19] in Winona.
GOP candidate Tom Emmer did not attend, citing a scheduling conflict. Outstate newspapers like the Bemidji Pioneer and Detroit Lakes Tribune had something to say about that absence in light of the challenges facing Minnesota’s communities.
You can watch both of this week’s debates at The Uptake.
News is breaking
The campaign scheduled a news conference for Friday [Aug. 20] to preview its new TV ads. Watch for Tom’s ads beginning over the weekend.
Meanwhile, the campaign is preparing a briefing for early [this] week on the details of Tom’s budget proposal.

On the road
Tom planned to follow up on the Greater Cities debate with a tour in southern Minnesota, starting with a radio interview early Friday morning [Aug. 20] in Winona.
From there, plans called for visits to Austin and Albert Lea for a full day of meetings with voters, local elected officials, and the media. Lieutenant governor candidate Jim Mulder planned visits Friday [Aug. 20] in Staples and Long Prairie.
Leadership based on what’s right
You can help spread the word about Tom’s commitment to common-sense leadership with a contribution to Horner2010.
Go to www.horner2010.com and click the “Contribute” button, or write to us at 10760 Hwy 55, Plymouth, MN 55441.
Your donation ensures we can get on the air — and stay on the air — with our radio and television ads.
Make a contribution today to help get Tom’s message to the tens of thousands of Minnesotans who agree with common-sense solutions. And encourage your family, friends and neighbors to join us to elect Tom Horner governor on Nov. 2.
Sincerely,
Stephen Imholte
Campaign Manager
