One year ago today, I reported that voters in Minnesota 6th Congressional District (MN-06) had two fiscally conservative options on the Nov. 2, 2010 general election ballot as sane, rational alternatives to the radically extreme Michele Bachmann — Independence Party nominee Bob Anderson and unaffiliated, independent candidate Aubrey Immelman.

Deadly hours in Afghanistan (NBC Nightly News, Oct. 26, 2009) — An Army helicopter went down in the west of the country after leaving the scene of a firefight, killing 10 Americans.
