Last week we told you about a Sartell man who is challenging Congresswoman Michele Bachmann in the Republican Primary in September.
Well, tomorrow (Saturday) is the day Aubrey Immelman kicks off his walking tour of the district, to bring awareness to his campaign.
He’ll be at Charlie’s Café in Freeport at 9:00 a.m. From there, he’ll walk down the Lake Wobegon Trail, reaching Albany by noon, Avon at 2:00 p.m., and St. Joseph by 5:00 p.m.
On Monday, Immelman will start his trip down Highway 10. He’s hoping to make it to Stillwater by the end of the week.
Immelman is a professor at St. John’s University.
The primary election is September 9th.
